Triple AND Logic in the TXI Series
The TXI Series is a range of high-mount outdoor curtain PIR sensors designed to protect areas such as building walls, windows, and entrances.
It features OPTEX’s Triple AND Logic, which reduces false alarms caused by small animals while maintaining human detection performance.
In general, with outdoor PIR sensors, accurately distinguishing between people and small animals can be difficult, especially when the sensors are installed at higher positions. Therefore, achieving a balance between human detection performance and resistance to false alarms is an important factor.
Triple AND Logic uses three detection zones and triggers an alarm only when the detection conditions are met in all three zones.
This unique detection logic accurately detects people while reducing false alarms caused by small animals, achieving a high level of both human detection performance and pet tolerance.
In addition, the detection areas are optimized according to the mounting height, providing stable detection performance across a wide mounting range of 2.2 to 4.0 meters.
