OPTEX’s retrofit solution is a solution for converting to the latest alarm system with a smartphone app (control the system, receiving notifications, etc.) utilizing the wired sensors you have been using currently. Because the installation work to replace to new sensors is no necessary, this solution can be realized at affordable cost.

GENIO is a Wireless Burglar Alarm system from OPTEX. It can watch your home for 24 hours / 7 days including outdoor premises such as garden and backyard. You can arm and disarm GENIO with a dedicated smartphone app (GENIO App). If the sensor detects an intruder while the system is in Arm status, the system will immediately send a notification to the preset report destination. At the same time, it is possible to check alerts on GENIO App.
In addition, the app has not only security but also home automation functions. It enables you to turn on the light with the detection by the sensor as a trigger, to operate the opening and closing of the curtain with the app etc..

Using HWC-1B hardwire to wireless converter (including backup battery). HWC-1B is designed to convert existing wired security sensors to wireless zones, enabling retrofitting of traditional wired security systems. It will convert a total of 9 wired zones and convert them into 9 wireless zones. The wireless compact module can be mounted next to the security system control panel, allowing for convenient placement and easy installation.

And also you can add GENIO outdoor and indoor wireless sensors and home automation devices to the system. All sensors are wireless so they can be easily installed in existing buildings without installation construction such as diging your garden or opening hole on wall.
