The Accurance OV-102 is an anti-tailgating sensor designed for access control systems. The OV-102 helps detect unauthorized individuals who enter by closely following an authenticated person—a security risk known as “tailgating.” When potential unauthorized entry is detected, the system triggers an alert, enhancing security while allowing organizations to continue using their existing facilities.
The OV-102 supports mounting heights from 2.5 to 4.0 m, is easy to install, and integrates smoothly with existing doors. It detects various unauthorized-entry scenarios, including:
- Tailgating entry: An unauthorized person enters immediately after an authenticated individual.
- Cross entry: An unauthorized person enters while an authorized person is exiting.
- Multiple-person entry: Multiple people stay in the detection area.
